Step 1: Go to education.github.com
Step 2: Sign up to github and enroll in github education with your school email (you can get a school/edu email really easily, just search it up!) (if you go to school you probably have one.)
Step 3: Click on get benefits, scroll down and find canva.
Step 4: Follow the instructions and link you github account to canva
Step 5: Restart Canva app/webpage and log out and then log in
Step 6: ENJOY ONE FREE YEAR OF CANVA!!!
