How Sugar is Slowly Killing Your Life šŸ˜± ā€“ And How to Fix it with Fasting & Berberine!

Ever wondered how sugar can wreak havoc on your life and health? Itā€™s not just about the calories or cravingsā€”itā€™s about insulin resistance and what too much insulin does to your body. But donā€™t worry! In this post, weā€™ll show you a simple method involving fasting and Berberine supplements to help reset your body and get it back on track. Letā€™s break it down!

:rotating_light: Too Much Insulin in Your Blood: The Hidden Danger

When thereā€™s too much insulin in the blood, your body starts resisting it. This causes glucose (sugar) to build up in your bloodstream instead of getting absorbed into cells for energy. Over time, this leads to weight gain, fatigue, and can even increase your risk of type 2 diabetes. Yikes! :grimacing:

:arrows_counterclockwise: How to Reset Insulin Sensitivity with Fasting

Fasting for 12-14 hours can help lower insulin levels and make your body more sensitive to insulin again. Think of it as a ā€œreset buttonā€ for your metabolism!

  1. Fasting helps your body switch from using glucose for energy to burning fat insteadā€”great news for reducing insulin resistance.
  2. When you fast, your body produces less insulin because thereā€™s no food to process. This gives your pancreas a much-needed break.

:fire: Bonus Tip: Break your fast with Berberine

:pill: Berberine: The Insulin Sensitivity Booster

Berberine is a powerful plant compound that works wonders for insulin resistance. It activates an enzyme called AMPK, which improves how your cells use glucose, reducing the need for insulin. Berberine essentially acts like a natural metabolism enhancer. :seedling:

  • Aim for a supplement with 98% Berberine purity for maximum effect.
  • Take 1 capsule after fasting to prepare your body for your meal and prevent blood sugar spikes. :clock3:

:rocket: How Fasting & Berberine Work Together for Insulin Resistance

When you combine fasting with Berberine, your body becomes a more efficient machine. It burns fat, stabilizes blood sugar, and helps your cells respond better to insulin. :muscle:

  1. After 12-14 hours of fasting, your insulin levels are low, and your body is primed for fat-burning.
  2. Taking Berberine at this point enhances insulin sensitivity, allowing you to break your fast without a huge blood sugar spike.
  3. Over time, this reduces insulin resistance and lowers your HOMA-IR indexā€”the measure of how much insulin your body needs to keep blood sugar under control.

:warning: Is it Safe to Fast for 12-14 Hours and Take Berberine?

Yes, itā€™s generally safe as long as you stay hydrated and start with a small dose of Berberine. After fasting, take your Berberine with water, wait an hour, and then eat. This method helps regulate your blood sugar and lowers insulin levels safely. :+1:

For people with high insulin levels or a high HOMA-IR index, this method could be a game-changer. But always check with your doctor first! :stethoscope:

Fasting combined with Berberine could be the key to reversing insulin resistance and boosting your metabolism. So why not give it a try? Your bodyā€”and your blood sugarā€”will thank you. :raised_hands:

Although my son is a diabetic t1 but I also know a little about insulin resistance. Taking berberine (natural equivalent of metformin) is not good in prediabetes phase. Itā€™s like pouring oil on the flames. In prediabetes phase we should start from changing our diet and exercise. Sport increases insulin sensitivity naturally. We should consume fewer calories than our caloric requirements. There are calculators to calculate it. Good diets for diabetics are low-carb, keto, carnivore, but calories should be calculated.

Good idea is using a glucose sensor (Dexcom, Freestyle Libra, Glunovo etc.) It shows everything what happens with our glucose lvl.
