  • Go to the Chrome Web Store: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/category/extensions
  • Search for “Browser Lock” in the search bar.
  • Find the “Browser Lock” extension in the search results, and click “Add to Chrome.”
  • Confirm the installation by clicking “Add extension” in the prompt that appears.
  • After the installation is complete, a padlock icon will appear in the top right corner of your Chrome browser.
  • Click the padlock icon to open the “Browser Lock” settings.
  • Enter a password of your choice in the “New Password” and “Confirm Password” fields, then click “Save.”
  • Optionally, you can configure additional settings such as auto-locking and password recovery options.
  • Now, whenever you open Google Chrome, you will be prompted to enter the password you set up with Browser Lock. Unauthorized users will not be able to access your Chrome profile without the correct password.
