Download Lynda Course Directly to Your Gdrive or Shared Drive

IMPORTANT you need an account to download the course.

To download the course open this link

Run first 2 cells.

Go to lynda website and login no go to the course you want to download.

Now press right click and click inspect (i assume you are using chrome) and go to network tab.

Now go to the XHR tab and refresh the page you will see library name file right click on it an go to copy choose copy request headers (i suggest to wait for 4 option as in image).

Now paste that to notepad and save it as cookies.txt.

Go to colab file and choose upload and upload cookies,txt file move that file to lynda-dl

every time you download the course you have to create that cookie file for that course and repeat the process.

I couldn’t move the downloaded courses to shared drive as folders as i have to copy the files

when you are in this colab file go to this file section and from there drag your downloaded file to shared drive don’t do this in drive. you change code for directly download in shared drive try that.

How can I change code as I’m not familiar with programming

select the last cell move course to gdrive u will see some icons in the right side setting, Bin and 3 dots like this. click on 3 dots and go to forms and show code there is a path in between " ". in colab file in left side there is file section choose your shared drive and right click on it u will see copy path option select it and paste it in the code and then run the cell.
