Lately, Youtube ads have become particularly annoying.
Now, a new Chrome browser add-on called:
Ad Speedup - Skip Video Ads Faster
has appeared, which speeds up Youtube ads x16 times! Thus, a 30 second ad will last less than 2 seconds.
Furthermore, it mutes the ad sound.
You just install the add-on and forget it, it works automatically.
The video itself is not affected.
The add-on has a high rating at the Chrome Web Store, namely 4.8 out of 5.
At the moment, it only works on Chromium based browsers, which include Edge, and I’ve personally tried it on Opera. It’s also compatible with ad-blockers.
