Is there anyway to go about the credit card requirement to claim the free tier vps offered by vultr?

After scanning through their website, FAQ, documents etc, im sorry to say that it seems the only way to provide a non-direct payment-linking method (like paypal etc) you need first to have connected with a valid credit card once, and they check if its valid by sending a very small fee (which you’ll get back instant). I myself have’nt spend a penny and are using it as a first time playing tool to learn! 
Can vouch for that if you link it don’t cost a thing for that first promo credits but they last only a month for you to spend.
