Unblock Blocked Sites Anywhere: The “Internet Archive Tunnel” Trick

Can’t access a blocked site? Paywall got you down?

Here’s a stealthy way to view almost any web page (articles, downloads, tools) no proxy, no VPN, no browser plugin, no AI.

How to do it:

  1. Go to archive.org/web/
  2. Enter the blocked/premium/paywall URL in the search box.
  3. Hit Enter—you’ll see a calendar, with snapshots for many dates.
  4. Click on any blue-dated snapshot; often the full page, files, and sometimes even “premium” content is viewable and downloadable!
  5. Bonus: For recurring “This page isn’t archived yet” errors, try “Save Page Now” or Google “site:archive.org [your page]” for alternate links.

Why this rocks:

  • Works in schools, libraries, offices, even where VPN and proxy are blocked.
  • Great for retrieving lost content, old tools, and info when a site is down.
  • 100% free and legal (uses public web archiving).
  • Bypasses most soft paywalls, expired links, and geo-blocks.

Pro tip:
For PDFs, music, or videos: use the displayed file URLs to open/download directly, or search archive for community guides.

Save this. Sometimes the oldest trick is the hackiest.
