A time of crisis is upon us - yes, I’m talking about the COVID-19 pandemic. With the fear of a third world war affecting the masses right at the beginning of the year, this current problem seems to have united the countries and communities of the world like never before - or has it? :smirk:

People are losing themselves in mass hysteria, even in the places which are relatively safe for now, and it looks like we’re all living in a math problem with the touch of a horror flick. Enjoy it while it lasts! :joy:

Speaking of flicks, people are preferring to quarantine themselves for prevention or isolation purposes, and so if you’re hyped all day and can’t still, what better than to lose yourselves over the idiot box?
Yep, that’s the television for you. However, if all of the family is hogging that one single screen in your home, here’s a solution - Internet TV! Yay!

Well, you must be bored by me droning on and on, so let’s get right to business. Here are some of my recommended platforms you could spend all day staring at - and all except one are free, which this hack is specifically for. So, I’ll get down to that one first. If you’re feeling lazy(completely understandable) and want to plug right in, scroll down to check out the easy-peasy options.

  1. https://www.tvnow.de/
    This is a web television platform based in Germany, so the site is in German, but the shows, movies and live television span various languages like English, German, Hindi and Spanish as they have well curated sections of stuff. Since it is not free though, here’s the IBAN payment hack to help get as many monthly trials as you need -
    (a.) Use a Germany IP address. Go here and sign up. I prefer using https://10minutemail.com/ since it is faster than the fake-it mailbox.
    (b.) Click on the registration confirmation link from the email.
    (c.) Fill out the details from here and click on the “Test Premium For Free” button(it’s the yellow one). Then click the white button on the next screen.
    (d.) Choose the “Direct Debit” payment option and fill up the details from the fake-it profile, then click on the “To Buy” blue button. Example screenshot is given.

    (e.) Go on to the next screen and click “Further”. That’s it! You can check it by going to Account->My Package window. Here’s what it should look like -

Please note that options 2, 3 and 4 are free, so will probably contain annoying ads. It is recommended to use a USA IP address while accessing them.
