Hello OneHackers,
I hope everyone is doing well. Today, I wanted to share a quick guide on how to sync your Android Phone with your Windows PC using the “Your Phone” feature. This allows you to get messages, photos, and even calls and notifications from your Android phone directly to your Windows PC.
-
On your Android phone:
- Download and install the “Your Phone Companion - Link to Windows” app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the app and sign in with your Microsoft account.
- Follow the setup instructions in the app to link your phone and PC.
-
On your Windows PC:
- Open the pre-installed “Your Phone” app on your computer. If you can’t find it, you can download it from the Microsoft Store.
- Sign in with the same Microsoft account you used on your phone.
- Choose “Android” on the right, then click “Continue”.
- A QR code will appear on your PC. Scan this with your Android phone to complete the setup.
With these steps, you should be able to sync your Android Phone to your Windows PC. Now you can receive and send messages, see photos, and get notifications directly on your computer. You can even make and receive calls!
Look for the ‘Sync over mobile data’ option and enable it.
