[SOLVED] installing app on Ubuntu

I am unable to install uTorrent or any torrent download software in Ubuntu OS.Anyone please guide me to install it in Ubuntu?

uTorrent is horrible. Try this one

sudo apt install transmission

Use qbittorrent it’s better than utorrent and open source as well
sudo apt update
sudo apt install qbittorrent

Their is a default application named as “Transmission BitTorrent Client”.You can see it in the dash home.By clicking a magnet link,the app immediately opens.

First of all, those who making opinions, The thread’s basic subject is Utorrent so let it be if anyone needs to know the differences read them at official pages.

Follow this guide and get it done, it method available at Official Ubuntu page. Install uTorrent in Ubuntu you can also use this guide and instructions How to Install uTorrent in Ubuntu and as someone already to use Transmission client it’s default by Ubuntu it will do the deed very well and best client for Linux as well. Other Alternatives are qBittorrent, Vuze, Deluge, Frostwire, Tixati. use the commands:

sudo apt-get install qbittorrent
sudo apt-get install deluge
sudo apt-get install vuze

Tixati > Visit Tixati is not open-source software.

Frostwire > Here
