Laptop Display Problem

I am facing this issue with my laptop. I already checked there is no software related issue because it works completely fine with an external display. I don’t know the issue in Display flex cable or Laptop Display Screen. I moved the hinges forward or backward but nothing happened same result.

Can you be more specific?

Hi,
I have similar problem with my dell computer.
The problem was with Graphics Chip on the board.
I use Heat Gun 2000W (blower) to heat the chip with 500 degrees.
After that the computer work perfectly again.

you can see this video how to do that

If it works perfectly with an External display, then no need to mess with up, because if the flex happens on an external display then probably the issue might be the bad ram, bad VGA, 95% chances. but as you have said it works perfectly so ram is fine & it’s not related to software either. it’s a hardware issue.

Solution: Visit the Laptop service center near you, any shop or service shop, ask them to check & replace the graphic/display connector chip which connects display on the screen (it’s a small soft card type chip which contains wires that connects to the laptop’s display screen, check the image below how it looks) that’s it.

Most of the AMD’s has a similar issue; display connector chips get damaged due to many reasons.
