Is the Google Drive Unlimited not going to work until July 2022?

I heard that the Education Workspace of Google Drive is not going to be unlimited in 7/2022, so from now to then, my school account is unlimited but after that is all the data deleted? Should I buy one from outside?

Nothing is free without them making something out of it. Rather use a paid service if you can and be sure your data is safer.
