I just recently graduated and wanting to do freelance website development. Now i want to purchase a laptop but i need help deciding which is preferable for a programmer?
if you completely relay on laptop and you will keep laptop always on then gaming laptop is good because its build for all time running and btw what’s your budget and what are the others work you’re planning to do .If you are into designing website also means your laptop monitor should srgb above 90% atleast you match colors.
Thanks @Dontguessme for that reply. Gaming laptop sounds good… My budget is around $2000 AUD. Im deciding to also work with video editing software for YouTube videos such as premiere pro, Adobe edition etc… Which gaming laptop do you prefer? What specs should i be looking for?
I’m not an expert or reviewed all laptop I bought an MSI laptop recently it looks good to me or you can try with Asus or dell gaming laptop
I would recommend going with an AMD Ryzen laptop. Recently I was looking up laptops for my nephew for around 1000$ US. And found the Lenovo Legion 5:
AMD Ryzen 7 4800H (8 cores-16 thread)
16.0GB DDR4-3200
1TB 5400 +256GB SSD NVMe
15.6"FHD, 100%sRGB, 144Hz 5ms, 1920x1080
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6
6-row 4zone RGB Backlight
Wi-Fi 6 AX200
I think If you could find something similar then you are good to go. And with your budget of 1500 $ US you can even get better spec. But be CAREFUL not to confuse with the Intel version.
actually for 2000$ MSI Gaming laptop With
Intel i7th 10 gen
RTX 2060 6 GB ,
16 GB RAM,
256 GB SSD 1 TB HDD
15.6"FHD, 100%sRGB, 144Hz 5ms, 1920x1080
STEELE Series Per Key RGB Is good
But for Premiere and Graphic rendering Ryzen and 6 GB variant is good can get from ASUS
