Although the video you wish to recover has been removed from the platform, you still need to log in to your YouTube account as you normally would. Proceed to the section where the deleted video is listed, and obtain the link to the video you intend to retrieve.
Step 2: Visit the WayBack Machine The WayBack Machine is an internet archiving initiative designed to preserve the valuable content that has existed online. This platform hosts archives of nearly all websites. To explore the history of a specific site, simply enter its URL into the WayBack Machine’s search function. As of the time of this writing, it contains over 531 billion archived pages. This project primarily serves developers, historians, and researchers by providing access to historical internet data.
Once you have the link to the deleted YouTube video, open a new tab in your web browser. You can either type “archive.org” into the URL bar or perform a Google search for “WayBack Machine” and select the first result. Either method will direct you to the appropriate website, where you will encounter various icons and features. Locate the search box accompanied by a “go” button to proceed.
Step 3: Input the URL Now that you are on the WayBack Machine page, navigate to the search section as indicated in the accompanying image. Paste the URL of the deleted YouTube video that you obtained in Step 1. Alternatively, you can switch to the tab where the YouTube page is open to copy and paste the URL. After entering the URL in the search box, click the “go” button to witness the results.
Step 4: Review the Browsing History Enter the link into the search box adjacent to the WayBack Machine. Ensure that you have a complete and accurate URL.
