How to download any Youtube videos directly to Google Drive?

Hey guys,

need help with the following:

How to download any Youtube videos directly to Google Drive?

I’ve tried with “Right Click” and “Save Link to Google Drive” but always get a pop-up with the message
“Download failure: Source too large”

Is this possible?

Any Video Downloader DOES NOT work for YouTube website or any other YouTube videos embedded in other websites due to Google policies and restrictions.

For Import there is option, but for export it is against policies…

Go to https://photos.google.com/settings and set to “Sync photos & videos from Google Drive” to “ON”;

Then,

Go to https://www.youtube.com/upload and on the right-hand side, you should see an option to import videos from Google Drive;

Click the “import” button, click on your video and choose select.

if you use Google Chrome, there are so many video downloader you can try

Requirements

  1. Install Google Drive on your machine
  2. Install Google Chrome
  • Install video downloader extension
  1. Open YouTube video
  2. Look at the video downloader extension icon, If they found the video just click download or save your Google Drive
  3. Move the download video to your good drive.

Simple right!

Will try this method. I hope it will work.

As mentioned, already tried in Chrome with a video downloader extension
but always get a pop-up with the message “Download failure: Source too large!

There are Google collab notebooks which have YouTube dl built in
Just mount ur Google drive in it and download youtube videos or entire playlist
