Yo OneHack community, Is OpenAI’s finally swinging the banhammer :hammer: on those $1 ChatGPT Teams accounts, and it’s wild. My old account, sub ended Oct 1, got straight-up deactivated no warning, just gone. :face_with_steam_from_nose:

Are you experiencing mass bans too? When did it get nuked? Any luck appealing or dodging it? Let’s share the tea OpenAI’s out here playing hardball. :hot_beverage:

Yeah my account got banned too I don’t know why :cry: , maybe they are really starting to mass ban accounts.

I believe that ChatGPT and your IP address were disconnected automatically.

Sincerely, this is not new. This even started when this promo came out. I first created an account that managed to complete one month. I also had a second account that was banned after 10 days. It has been a thing since this offer started.

yes i successfully made like 3 accounts in past this time i used totally new ip and device still got banned maybe paypal is starting to give them information about users countries now .. need someone expertise to bypass this ..maybe using fresh paypal account for totally new account will help? @srz pls look into this if u can

I haven’t had any trouble so far. Maybe that’s because I paid with a card from Privacy.com (which accepts any billing country and address on its merchant locked cards) instead of going through Paypal? If any of y’all (that happen to be US-based) decide to try the promo again with a new account, use a Privacy card for payment and give OpenAI whatever BS billing country and details work for you.

I just made an account yesterday, got the 1 euro team sub on it, and not even 24h passed, it got deactivated :((
